It was a very nice day, cold but sunny, when walkers joined the Global Diabetes Walks arranged by the Vlaamse Diabetes Vereniging, Belgium. Director Stijn Deceukelier reports that every participant received a fluo bag with an apple, a diet coke, a hypofit and some information. The diabetes association succeeded in arranging 9 walks in these cities, with a total of 3,927 participants:
